Welcome to Cheraw Braves Nation!
This site has been needed for quite some time. Even with the use of Facebook and MySpace, it has been hard to keep in touch with former classmates and friends. The idea for this came about last fall when the Class of 88 had its reunion. The initial idea was to put together a site to be able to notify them about reunions and gatherings. As I sat down to think about how to set up this board, I decided that it probably would not be that much more work to put together something that all CHS grads could use. So Cheraw Braves Nation was born.
The heart of this site is the forum. If you have never used a forum before, there is a Help link at the top of the page in the navigation bar. It should answer any questions you have.
Hopefully, you will use it for more than just a place to post announcements for reunions. It can be a great place to stay in touch with old friends, meet new friends who may live close to you where ever life has moved you too, and hold memories of our school years.
One of the ideas I have is to install a picture gallery so that you can upload school related images (sports, band, academic, clubs, groups). But something like this would need to be organized and maintained. So if you would like to help out, let me know and we can build this into something we can all be proud of.
